CAST IN DENMARK SINCE 1956

THE SAME HANDS BEHIND EVERY PAN

A Danish factory. People who stay. A standard that does not change.

GET TO KNOW US

OUR FACTORY

Our factory sits in Ryomgaard, in the Danish countryside, in a place where nothing happens in a hurry and where work is measured by what has been done rather than what has been promised.

Here the aluminium is squeeze-cast, the coating is applied in our own facility, and every piece is checked at every station in production, not only at the end of the line. Each pan is given its own serial control number, because for every piece there should be a record of who made it and when.

That is not efficiency. It is accountability. And it is why the people working here know exactly what they are holding.

OUR LEADERSHIP

Companies are not run from reports. They are run from the factory floor, from conversations with the people standing at the machines, from decisions made today that will be felt in ten years.

Gastrolux is led by people who understand both manufacturing and the market.

ANDY GROB

Owner

Andy is a Swiss entrepreneur whose passion and core beliefs are embedded in the heart of Gastrolux’s manufacturing process.

He believes in creating a satisfying working environment for employees. He continues his father’s legacy of innovation and excellence, whilst maintaining the family culture established over 70 years ago.

OUR FAMILY

In Ryomgaard, many have been here for decades. They can hear when something is not right, they catch a fault before the machine reports it, and that knowledge is not learned in a week. It is gained by standing next to someone who has been doing the work for twenty years.

We regard every employee and every partner as part of the family. As a family-run business, we value close relationships that lead to better teamwork and long-term trust. We treat each other with respect and understanding.

Every pan that leaves our factory has passed through their hands.

OUR PARTNERS

We have worked with most of our customers and suppliers for years, and with many of them for decades. It is not a matter of contracts but of the habit of keeping your word, including when the situation is complicated.

A long-term partner knows the product, knows how to explain it to a customer, and knows what to expect from us – in deadlines, in quality, and in the conversation when something does not go to plan. The same is true in reverse. Relationships like this are not built quickly, but once they exist, they make everything else easier.

Our partners are part of the Gastrolux story, and for good reason.

MADE IN DENMARK

Gastrolux is Swiss-owned, with its head office and factory in Denmark, in Ryomgaard. Materials come from selected suppliers in several countries, but everything that turns those materials into a pan happens here: the casting, the coating and the inspection.

This is not a question of labels but of control. When production sits in one place and in your own hands, a fault is seen immediately and corrected immediately. When it is scattered across the world, it is seen first by the customer.

Swiss ownership and Danish craft are no accidental pairing. Both traditions treat precision as a matter of decency rather than as a marketing argument.

OUR VISION

To develop, manufacture and market cookware of high and consistent quality, with continuous improvement.

OUR MISSION

To maintain that level of quality and deliver a product that can be relied upon by those who cook at home and those who cook professionally.

CORE VALUES

Things that last come from values that last.

These values were not written for this page. The product, the way it is made and partnerships measured in decades all grew out of them.

Every generation in this business inherited the solutions of the one before it and tried to do them better. That is how we got here, and that is how we continue. For us, innovation is not a break with what came before, but its next step.

The same factory, the same standards, control at every station in production. Quality that repeats is worth more than quality achieved occasionally.

We say what we can prove. With colleagues, partners and customers we are open, whether the news is good or not.

A family-run business where people stay for the long term and working relationships are measured in decades.

For us, quality is measurable, not a matter of impression. Every pan carries its own serial control number, so that even years later there is a record of when and how it was made.

HOW WE WORK

Three things that are not negotiable: the people, the product and the material it starts from.
